Technology allows me to achieve tasks at a faster rate.  I can unlock my phone and have immediate access to the internet, social media, texting, and sports.  I can stream live concerts, broadcasts, church sermons, and sporting events from anywhere I want.  Alarms can be set to tell me who texted me and at what time they texted me.  I can prioritize sports updates, television shows, and new emails by allowing them to pop up on my screen when they are a day, a hour, or a minute away.

Instead of waiting to find out about all this information it is right at my fingertips.  I come home and know what is going halfway across the world and what I need to do that night.  This has made all my activities quicker and easier to manage.  A project that could have taken me hours to research in a library can take 30 minutes researching from home on a laptop.

Because of that I have had more free time to practice my art form.  A few minutes of extra free time isn’t a lot, but after awhile it adds up.  This added leisure time makes my schedule more organized.  I have more time to work on assignments and practice my trumpet.  I get information and tasks done much faster with the technology of today.
