Technology has absolutely had a positive effect on my life. One thing it has done is made my social life a lot better. For example, with a cell phone, I am able to talk to people more often. I can text whoever I want to talk to, which makes it easier because I'm don't have to call them or try to see them in person, which can be an inconvenience to both me and the person I'm trying to talk to. Another thing technology has done for me is made it easier for me to learn things. If I don't know something, I can just use the internet to Google what I need to know and find the answer almost instantly. This is so much easier than searching through books and other things for who knows how long to find what I'm looking for. If it weren't for technology, I would be ten times more dumb than I am right now. On top of being stupid, I would also be bored because technology helps me fill my spare time. If I'm bored, I can pretty much do anything I want in a matter of seconds. I get on my phone to pull up YouTube to watch videos, listen to music, play games, or use GPS to look up directions for a place I want to go. Technology is a major part of my life and I have no idea what I would do without it. Hopefully I never have to find out.
