Brave Little Toaster- Cassie Adams

As soon as the front door closes each morning, my day beings. With the humans of the house gone, I am free to do as I please. I roll myself off of the counter where I was previously left by my owner. I continue to roll, being careful to avoid the corners of furniture and keeping an eye out for any of the four cats in house. I finally reach the living room where I wait to meet all of my other bobby-pin friends. We spend the day chatting with each other about our various adventures. Some of the other bobby pins tell stories of being lost in dark corners of drawers or of being mistaken as a play toy by one of the cats.   When the day is over, we must return to our places before our owner gets home. Some of us go back to the drawer in the bathroom, or on the dresser, or under the bed, or hidden between the couch cushions. No wonder our owner is always misplacing us, we're everywhere!
