Hooray for Hollywood - Jasa Harris

I love Tyler Perry and most of his movies, so I am going to compare two of my favorites that he has directed – I Can Do Bad All By Myself and Madea Goes to Jail. In I Can Do Bad All By Myself the storyline is much more serious, and it is more of a romantic drama, while Madea Goes to Jail is much more comedic and is intended to make you laugh. And although Madea appears in both movies, she is not essential to the storyline in I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Also, in this movie is singing, a lot of it. Personally, I prefer I Can Do Bad All Myself to Madea Goes to Jail; it’s actually my favorite of his movies just because it is really heartwarming and it is a bit more serious, but it also incorporates a little bit of comedy in some places. And it stars Brian White, and I love Brian White. Madea Goes to Jail would definitely be the one I chose if I needed a good laugh, however. But other than that it’s kind of predictable, but Sofía Vergara is in it, and she’s just hilarious. Overall, both movies are decent and entertaining. They both have great, mixed cast and Madea. I Can Do Bad All By Myself is just better.
